I think there's a Wall Mart down there you'd find interesting.

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Hi Denial,

Please bear in mind that what I am about to say is a generalization: nothing worth while in life is easy. I'm not going to elaborate into philosophic detail about things that are worthwhile, but instead I'm going to elaborate on something many of us at UER will agree is a common quality of something worthwhile, which is effort. Y'see, we have all to some extent exerted some sort of effort into finding locations, and there are various already stated rules against freebies for very valid reasons.

For starters, half of exploration is also finding. If you're just interested in looking at really old decrepit things, or taking artsy photographs, I recommend checking out the History museum, or the Art museum. They're both freebies that you can easily google map, and as long as you pay for your ticket you don't have to worry about security either. This is an example of effort, there's no risk, no gain, and virtually no effort exerted. On the other hand you can just go out there and get some hands on field experience, which is what most of us would recommend. Just go out there little doggy! Go on, get! Shoo!

I can happily give you advice on how to find these places. Just look for places that look rundown and sloopy! Y'know, boards, broken windows. Go to a place that really makes you feel uncomfortable. Stick your nose in places where it doesn't belong. Question everything. Don't let the bastards grind you down.

Be Adventurous,
Be Courageous,
Keep your wits about,
Leave no trace,
Take nothing except pictures,
That is the UrbEx Way.
Just who the hell do you think we are?
