| | | I'm not sure about the first one, there doesn't seem to be a point to it. I like the 2nd though I don't think the trees in the frame do anything for it.

| | | fi would be better if the building was exposed properly. Its too dark. The sky could be brought out some more too in LR the second is the best. But to make it better in my eyes. I'd crop it down to just the brick wall with the big door in the frame. Meaning, get rid of the red brick wall on the right, and the wall/sky/windows above the rotting dark brick wall. then maybe bring it in a very little on the left. This will put focus on the door and will have a nice contrast of that dark rotting brick wall. after that, when viewed on black it would look fantastic. 3, well i see what you're going for. I like that you got it straight. [last edit 1/11/2012 4:56 PM by team haymaker - edited 2 times]

Well, the first one would be part of a set at a factory I explored, but I'm not a huge fan of industrial sites, so I decided not to post as a set. I agree about the trees too. I wish they weren't there, but nothing I could do about it. Thanks.

Interesting. I'll try that out, and see how it looks.

| | | as per our PMs heres my view on the photo. Its completely my perspective on it. I also added some contrast to it. i started another version with the trees cloned out but got bored of editing. too much work. [last edit 1/12/2012 2:46 AM by team haymaker - edited 1 times]

| | | There's not enough depth to 1 or 2. 1. You are trying to squeeze too much into the shot, AND not fitting enough in at the same time. Get closer and go wider and use the side of the tracks as your right vertical. Or get closer and focus on small details. 2. Except for the pipes, 2 is pretty much flat, and there's nothing that stands out, yeah red door, but not all that interesting. Cropping it makes it even flatter. 3. There's depth, but the composition is off like mentioned before. I like this one better than the other two though.
