It doesn't matter how brutal you are, I just like to hear the opinions on what worked for you and what didn't

1: It has to be perfectly straight!

2: I don't care at all for the content.

3: Is confusing. I don't know what you are photographing. Too light in the front. Too dark in the back.

4: The light and colors are really nice. It would be nice to get the light quality that you have on the bottom of your image, on the top as well. It is really noisy for some reason.

5: I really like this one. The exposure is good and it really gives you a feeling.

6: I also really like this one. The exposure is good. The subject is a little small in the frame but it doesn't bother me all that much.

7: sorry

8: Its a little crisp for my liking but not bad. Your focus falls off in the foreground. I would have focused more on the front of the tree. I think that would clear up the foreground and still retain focus all the way out of frame.

Overall: Keep dong black and whites!

Exploring the Tourette's Guy's old house was probably a bad idea.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.

The trees. It's all about the trees. Too bad all trees don't just come in black and white.

I like the first four, though some straightening of lines would help a bit. A little barrel distortion doesn't bother me, but the slight diagonals are a jarring.

The last three are slightly disorienting to me- I can't really discern your subject, but that may have been your intention.

Very nice work, what sort of equipment are you using?

4 and 8 are my favorites. Though the tone mapping or whatever processing you've done to 8 is a little much

5 & 8;

i love 5, it speaks a lot to me. haha there's a lot of frustration and anger in the image and i love the aggressiveness. nothing wrong with being a masochist.

8 - I'm a sucker for these tree/roots pictures, especially black and white. i think the shots are good,
the only one that i dislike (or like the least) is number 1. i feel like its framed in an awkward place or something.. idk maby i just don't like it or think its boring.

5, and 6 are atmospheric and creepy. 1 is interesting, 8 has great composition. Didnt really care much for the others, 3 and 7 are lacking interesting subjects. Maybe try lighting yourself in 7?
