| | | Mixing a bit of pleasure with business. I had reason to be in this building but, on spotting an open door, I sneaked out to take a few crafty pictures. Could not resist it. Plus I just love this town, the architecture cannot be faulted and so bloody difficult to get any decent high shots...someone needs to put a decent size crane in the middle of the town. Back of Broad Street.
George Street looking East.
Mary Poppins view, Milson Street to the right, looking South.
Milson Street.
George Street.
Junction of George and Milsom Street.
It only seemed five minutes ago it was August, blimey...

| | | Could I borrow one of your pictures for my weblog? I'm looking for an illustration to one sentence I found recently. It's from "The savage detectives" by Roberto Bolano: "Through the only window, as small as a porthole, you can see the neighboring rooftops, where human sacrifices are still performed, according to Ulises Lima, who got it from Monsiváis." Since I read it I'm looking differently at rooftops. And I wonder ... why couldn't I come up with such an interesting idea ...
