|  | | | The location is a college preparatory school for boys which was built between 1898 and 1902. The school is comprised of numerous buildings on top of a bluff overlooking a river. I was only able to explore two buildings before the sun began to set. As I was leaving was I was stopped by a truck which was driving through the location. I was told I was on private property, trespassing and to leave or the police will be called. I've seen this location posted many times but this was my first time there. Hopefully I have one or two shots you haven't seen before.

I’m seriously considering buying their baseball cap from the Association website and just walking in the open!! (I’m 90% sure my grandfather trained here before being shipped out)

Now, when you say “active” have they already began repurposing some of it, or is it more demo work?
Guess you didn’t get to see if any of the buildings from the base (NE corner) in the satellite photos are still there?

| | | | Active is right! There are other business that use the main entrance. They will call the police. People of this community hate photographers! Nasty people! Funny how when they got flooded, all the sudden , they were friendly, for a day! That town should have just Washed Away !
Be careful going here! Plus the upper floors of the main building with the stair case are very SOFT! I almost went through a floor with carpet on it, near the bell tower. Great Set.

| | | | I really like 2 & 3 for some reason and 8 as well, You pulled off the lighting really well in these, giving it a clean look considering just how dark it is in there. Unless it was brighter than when I went a couple months ago.
Also, regarding security, did the truck have any markings? Who's on the grounds? I'd like to go again, but I'd like to also leave without a trespassing charge.
And lastly, what buildings are you referring to?

Thanks for the compliments. There were no markings on the truck. Use google maps and do some driving to find the main gate to the property. This may answer your question about who is on the property and what they're dong there.
The two buildings are the one pictured in #1 and the closest building to the south.

| | | | This place is awesome. I love how relatively untouched it is. There's a real serenity to everything here, especially when you climb up the bell tower and get that awesome view of the river and I-95.
