|  | | | This cemetery has been badly vandalized. I would estimate that one quarter of the stones in this cemetery are so damaged that the information contained on them has been lost forever. The vandals not only broke the tops from the stones, they carried them away from the cemetery. Almost all of the large stones have been dislodged from their respective foundations. Vandals have had Ghost sighting parties at the cemetery for years leaving behind destruction and garbage. There are video's of these parties on the internet. In addition, the surrounding wooded areas have been used as a dump." http://www.interme...son/bass/index.htm
I choose to post these here, because I feel that the photographs depict the decay of an established burial site, a site that once held so much meaning to others is now left to waste. People do however frequent the place to pay respects (due to some fresh flowers by graves). The kids who used to come here and trash the place seemed to moved on and now go do other things. I am not sure but I believe this is a privately owned cemetery. I wouldn't be surprised in years time if this place were to become just a vacant lot.

4 - i didnt notice the pic was blurry when i took it, so I apologize, but it is a bed covered in leaves. It was situated to the corner of the graveyard.

When I was in high school, some of my friends and I used to go there in the middle of the night to do acid and play with flashlights and glitter. Back then, the grass used to be about chest high.
And there was a mattress in the corner farthest from the entrance which was surrounded by syringes and used condoms.
All the vandalism was done way before I went out there though.
Santa, that place is right by my house. You should hit me up next time you're in the area. If I'm around I'm always down for an explore. Even if I've been there a million times.
