|  | | | Found this old concrete factory in middle of nowhere, Northwest GA. Decided at the last minute to go check it out, despite the fact my friend Dusty was in his pajamas. Haha. It was an adventure getting there, and it turned out to be a pretty fun place to climb around at. We even ran in to a couple other explorers while we were there.

lol Yeah I guess I lied. North of ATL has more to offer than I previously thought. Gotta look hard though. The guys there told me about some other factories in Hiram but they didn't specify where so I'm probably gonna go do some more scouting soon. I told them both to check out UER and they said they didn't know such a site existed. Maybe they'll pop up around the SE forum soon. They were pretty cool guys.

Of course there is more out there than you previously thought, there aways is. But now you're doing your research and scouting and its paying off with some wonderful locations. I know how much you like to climb and this must have been a sweet day for you.

This isn't too far from Hiram. I'd be willing to meet up with you some time if you'd like to check it out. I've made a couple repeat visits since this was posted and wouldn't mind going back.

Go for it man. Everything in the photos is totally abandoned, but you usually have to work your way around some occupied bulldozers, dumptrucks, etc. because the Vulcan Quarry is right up the hill and they are driving around down there all the time. It's a pretty easy spot though. If you live in that area we could meet up sometime. I'm only about 20 miles away.

I'd love to, but with working weekends and watching our 5 month old son during the week... makes it kinda hard to do much that isnt infant friendly. I live just north of Villa Rica on 101.
