|  | | | I took a friend over to a factory this afternoon for a quick photoshoot. I came across this:
That's a bathtub. With a platform built around it. Full of water. Behind me in this photo are dozens of empty one gallon drinking water jugs. There's also several empty firewood bags and the smell of a fire all around this area. I don't know what was going on, but I definitely want to see the pictures.

After the verbal lashing he relaxed and we chatted for 20 minutes or so. He said that Kid Rock filmed a music video there two days ago. I saw a buttload of cars and security there Tuesday, so that explains it. If you venture to the "plant" be sure you park off campus and keep your eyes peeled. The rumors of beefed up patrols are true.

My friend says "We're here for a photoshoot!" The cop says "OH! Cool! Just be careful you don't hurt yourself!" We exchange good-nights and he takes off.
Not all the cops are bad. Maybe you just look GUILTY!

| | | | Nah, I am def' not the guilty looking type, if there is such a thing (camera in hand, yes sir/no sir answers). He was doing his job, and once he did it he went into "normal person" mode and we talked about all the local spots, even CHE. maybe the area was kinda "hot" after the video shoot or something, because I have never seen any police there before.

He told me that he knew all of the spots, and he named them by name (bathroom fixture plant, pet food plant, school ect.). No, I didn't volunteer anything, but he patrols the area and told me some stories about all of the spots the we already are aware of. At that point, he was just BS'ing. And yes, alot of his chatter was about CHE, where he worked for several years. For example, up until the "yard sale," they had light bars off of patrol cars from the '50's. I would have loved to have seen some of that stuff before it was moved...

When cops go ''chatty" its usually because they are looking for info. You did the right thing with the yes sir/no sir bit and you even ended up getting some cool stories in the end.

| | | | When me and Califone were there Saturday there were probably 5 or 6 other people there setting up for photo shoots. One guy even brought his (very) young children and gave them spray paint to play around with. I wouldn't be to worried about law enforcement catching you in that particular area, they don't seem to consider the place very dangerous or worth watching over.
