|  | | | Man i love abandoned Vancouver houses! I was so jaded when i got here thinking that there was going to be no great adventures but i was sooo wrong.
Here is another fine example of exactly that, a great adventure.
Stumbled across this little gem (r.i.p) one afternoon just before the demo crew started emptying it out.
Came in thru the basement to an absolute treasure trove of personal items left by the previous owners. (they either died of old age or sold the property and moved to an old age home with what they felt was valuable)
as i was checking out the basement i noticed the air was a little thick and there was some water damage but only on half of the basement. (which struck me as a little odd) coming up the stairs into the backside of the upper level was a little sketchy, there were actually large openings in the roof! lots of decay.
not really happy to have forgotten my mask at this point.
I was on the fence whether to stick around anylonger, when i looked around the next corner to find totally pristine house, like somebody just left that day..
I find alot of homes in vancouver in this state, (though not half rotted)
and its kindof what i come to expect. some places, if it were not for the power lines being cut i would swear somebody would have to live there.
anyways coming around to the west side of the house there are two bedrooms side by side. this one:

Also, the bathroom was pretty scary lol
moral of the story, houses are full of adventure!! go explore!

i really wanted to go to the abandoned asylum in new westminister, but when i had finally got someone to go with me and it had burned down that earlier that week.
