don't mind the size so much.

but first question is, wtf is dripping down the wall? blood or is it just rust?

Edit: it looks like really sweaty. i'm assuming condensation?

The, that ferry. That looks like an older photo, isn't it much more scrapped now?

Scrapped? You mean that's not one of the active ferries? It looks just like one I rode a couple months back.

Great photos, but we'd love to see more! You were inside the house...do you have any more peectors of the inside?

Thanks, I'll try to keep the pics coming. Once again, sorry for the large images. Im only using an ipad to post, and cant figure out how to make them smaller yet.

The photo of the ferry is only a few weeks old, its all complete inside and out apparently, but the weathers starting to eat away at it. I'll post more pictures of it, and I belive I have a couple of inside the house.

Ya its gotta be one of the coolest heritage homes around that area. I only live like 5 minutes away from there too.

Ooo gorgeous old house. Thanks for the extra pics!

What's with the strange plug? I've never seen the sideways prongs before.

The white ferry is actually over 90 years old, once operated all up and down the US coast, last known as the San Mateo. While she was in poor shape she was still restorable less than 6 years ago.

http://www.evergreenfleet.com/mateo.html

The rust bucket is the Queen of Sidney, the first to roll off the BC Ferries assembly line in 1959. Impressive that only 35 years of technology separates the two of them, eh?

I notice that the Sidney has now sunk deep enough into the riverbed that it's flooding her lower decks and engine rooms entirely during high water, based on your photo. Un-fucking-believable. The engines alone would still have been worth a cool half a million dollars, never mind the fittings, lifeboats, and hull itself (BC Ferries got rid of it out of greed, the MV Coho was launched the same year and it's still sailing smooth as silk through harsher waters than the Sidney traversed).

As far as I'm concerned the Redneck Retard who parked them there and uses them as a shotgun target is guilty of wanton heritage destruction. Whenever the Sun runs a piece on him and his "Plight" I see red and have to go sit in the corner for a while. Guys a right proper knob.
