I wish I'd known about this place when it still had some of the piping and machinery left. Now it's got almost nothing.

Good lighting on 1. Hit the power plant across the river?

I love #1. The lower light gives it a deeper perspective. #2 The reflection on the puddle is perfect!

Yes, there's some stuff left on the other side, but rather slim pickings. Be careful in there. There's a lot of climbing around involved...some sections are pretty bad and sections of catwalk are missing.

I personally find the place to be creepy. There is always a different homeless man there. A few months ago, a homeless man passed away there, very sad. Made me feel guilty for being afraid of him and going the other way. He always was cooking something there, smelled good.
So dark and the smell of oil does not set well with me. My husband likes the place, to each his own.
The power plant is a dangerous place, only been in once.
I live close by it, convenience.

Have you been in the basement areas? Those are admittedly creepy.

Yeah that sounds about right. I went down in there with a few friends in February and it was filled with a good three feet of mud all over the place. The ceiling was so low at some points we almost had to crawl.

A few of us went in there this summer and there was a guy chopping some of the building up. We actually spoke with him for a while, didn't mind one bit we we're there. Has anyone tried going down into the sub level? I started to but didn't have a respirator on me, mold spores created such a thick haze. I was able to get one shot off while holding my breath.

Wasn't so bad in winter. I suspect that's the only time to "safely" explore the sub-level.

i'll talk with my friend but last i knew he was stable condition but was taken to the nearest Shock Trauma Ward for his injuries from the ER we were at, i forget which one it was. He should make a full recovery, guy was lucky on 2 counts, the way he landed and that we were down there to haul him out

Lol, I’m at work, so I’m looking at the pics on my phone, while staring at white boxes on my PC

I love the “yellow” room! Someone needs to do a day long time lapsed set from just that room!!

I know that some don’t like YouTube, so I won’t post the link, but yeah, couldn’t believe how old the history of this place was, & how many times it was repurposed.

I spend a lot of time in the area because it's convenient and there's mountainbike trails. This is my favorite way between floors, especially going up.

heh, to be honest it shook me up a little, enough for me to take a drag on my friend's cigarette while we were at the ER (i don't smoke, at all)
