Hello folks, sharing some photos from an abandoned school. Built in 1908, shut down in 1986, and has since been neglected...I could feel the history of the place pouring out of the walls

I have always liked the theater in this place, really puts the make shift gym to shame.

Update: Went back to this place to go get some more photos, was there for maybe an hour just taking photography of the stairs and a few rooms. Next thing we know, the police came in with guns drawn, lasers pointed, and told us to show ourselves. I suppose someone had seen us go in and assumed we were up to no good. They said they were thinking about sending in the dogs before going in but decided against it. Really glad that did not happen. We told them the truth, that we were only here to take pictures because we find things like this beautiful and we were interested in the history of this place and the surrounding towns. After that, the tensions eased and we were told to leave and never come back. Its in a pretty neglected area, and I can only guess that shady things do go on inside the place...

Other than that, most of the pics I got were meh, except for a few photos of the skeletal remains of a dead badger (i think it was a badger). Ill post that soon.

Good to hear that you came out of this adventure with no more than stained underpants (I would have stained mine).

I admired your photos when you first posted them. They are great.

The seats were taken by the city as the school is labeled "surplus". They were there until very recently.

I was there a short time ago, myself. I think photos from there were the first I posted on this site. Such an awesome location.

I sure am glad the cops didn't come looking when I was in there. To me, the cops are the scariest thing out there. I'd rather run into crack heads or rabid animals than cops.

I mean I was there a few times and they started disappearing little by little and I got run out by a bum on an easter sunday early!!

but that place is beautiful!!

if the school did take them that explains more of a presence
