So, im not asking for locations but how is the UE up there? Ive been doing a little research and I dont know what to think yet..But is UE dead? good? Awesome. Just trying to get pumped before i head up there. Here is some Florida stuff ive done and i hope to see some of you guys in the next few months.

| | | I'm actually moving up to Portland, OR for college this Fall and I've kinda been wondering the same thing. All i can figure out from the PNW forum is.....people don't use it that much. But I don't doubt that there's awesome things going on around there. ^^^^nice pics btw

| | | I just moved up here to Portland for college myself after 5 years in the Marine Corps, and yeah, this forum is pretty slow. I also havent had much luck finding much online in general for the area. The search continues!

| | | The Washington and Oregon area has a lot of stuff to look at but is lacking in terms of a good, consistent group of explorers. The same goes for Idaho. There just aren't enough of us who live close enough together to hook up on a regular basis.

| | | There's some pretty cool stuff out there. I'm considering moving out there myself. The community needs to be revived.

| | | I've been exploring in Pullman and the surrounding regions for a while, and moving back to Yakima in a couple days. Haven't found much activity at all in the areas, except for a couple friends I've convinced to go along with me regularly. Although I'm pretty sure there is more places to explore and activity up in Seattle, so I'll probably be making a couple trips up there in the future.

| | | In Portland we have a loose-knit group that gets together once a month to trade stories, talk about our recent exploits and suggest new places to explore. We rarely explore on these nights, but it's nice to meet other local UE'rs and plan future trips. We normally meet the first Monday of each month at the Lucky Lab in SE Portland. | | | Good sir- the PNW will be better for your having joined it. Come up to Tacoma sometime-- there's good times to be had in the tide flats.
If photography is a function of the photographer then I will contentedly buy all my gear on craigslist. (/from livestrong2009) |

| | | I'm in Seattle and I've seen some areas I'd like to shoot. Looking forward to exploring and shooting again, although it does seem kinda slow. Also hoping to make it to Tacoma at some point to see what is there.

| | | Theres a couple places.. I wish abitibi was still here.. Glad I got to see it a couple times tho before the demo. That woulda been right next to fort luis. Seems like everyone up here has their friends they explore with so just choose your circle. Where in wa you gonna be stationed? My bf lives right next to joint base luis mchord so I'm pretty familiar with the tacoma and seattle areas. -Tom
