I'm shooting with a Canon Rebel XS stock, and i have found the critiques pretty damn helpful thus far, and tried to incorporate some of those tips into these shots, so get your critique on...

1. it's getting hot in herre, so take off...

2. a slave dances to the rhythm of his chained ankles

3. COME ON IN

4. turn me on.

5. thistle be a good thistle shot!

here's the post on the spot, which is a quarter million square foot greenhouse that once supplied the city of Toronto's florists with roses.
It has been virtually untouched by vandals in the 14 years that it has sat abandoned, likely due to it's secluded out of the way location.

Critiques? Ok, Damn it...
1. There's not enough pictures in this set.
2. They make my DoF shots look like hell, I hate when that happens.
3. Too good to be asking our opinion...

But seriously? It looks like you needed to dust off your lens in shot 2...
Well, get to it! Off with you now, move smartly.

Beautiful shots and composure is killer, great work!

what rebel? i have an xs. love the shots, really don't understand the titles though in comparison with the images haha. advice: its ok to not have a title! haha leaving it blank is always fine in my eyes at least.

the only other advice is on the last shot i wish you had moved the angle a little downward because the thistle on the right hand side gets lost in the whiteness of the window light like its pluffy white stuff is hard ti distinguish from the window in the background. other than that awesome sauce friend!

I think you have a bokeh problem, which makes this one of those rare occasions where you can blame your equipment! Good news, huh?

The out-of-focus regions of the images (using small f/stops with macro compositions) are really difficult to look at. Look at upgrading your lens to a standard or reading lens reviews looking for opinions on the glass' bokeh.

Noob tip: Don't know what bokeh is?? Google!

Very cool shots. Love the Macro. I would have to agree with Glass; the out of focus regions are almost nauseating. I understand that is somewhat the point of Macro but a cleaner background would provide better perspective.

I think your titles are wonderful!
