| | | the first pic is of a water commission access most of them that we have been down have led to pathways and a few short tunnels.they are located throughout the city on both Halifax and Dartmouth side each one is a different adventure even if only a short one.
the second pic is of a major storm water and rainwater/sewer collector and distribution station and is in life about 5 feet high off the grown and hosts tunnels and storm drains that stretch for miles and miles a bit smelly at times but has access hatches into the tunnels and a fairly good walkway along most of the tunnels above the water level.
The third pic is of a cover to a n.s. power access tunnel it seems i have had a chance to access the hatch inside but have never been for a tour of the access and its holdings but its one of our next trips to explore the whole thing and see what lies beneath...

| | | That's pretty neat. I'd be glad to check out some tunnels with you on a weekend sometime. Message or email me.

Don't suppose you could give us a GoogleMap link or even a description of where some of these are? I'm sure many of us would like to check them out a bit further.

There are three envelope icons under everyone's picture. Click the one on the left to send me a private message. Thanks, I appreciate it!

| | | If you're worried about things posted in public threads I'm able to privatize them. If you've posted (or created) the thread that is privatized, you'll retain access to it. Just ask, probably via private message, if you want them made private.
