| | | I couldn't resist an old run down school and an open door on New Years day. The school looked fairly old from the outside, but the interior had that cheesy 70's look to it. Flimsy wood paneling, Astroturf carpet - probably covering up some of the nicer details of the building. There was a fire ring at the bottom of the stairs. How nice, central heating! And lots of garbage everywhere. While I was inside looking around, I could hear my gf outside saying "someone is watching you". So I came running out all freaked out and she was pointing to an eye that was spray painted on the wall. -M.

| | | Neet old place, I like the lines. At first glance I thought of an old 1800's - 1900's schoolhouse, but upon closer inspection of details, like mouldings, trim and that interior staircase railing I would have to guess... maybe... mid to late 1940's?!? Any history of the place?

sounds about right
We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained we must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be by the better angels of our nature. |

| | | I went there today, to see the church, and found the same thing. A common end to abandonments these days. Glad to at least see pix of the place here.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too! |
