|  | | | While doing some online research, I have discovered what may or may not be the Gates of Hell. I don't know much, yet, but as I learn more I will be sure to share. I believe them to be somewhere in Colorado (Thornton), or Kansas, maybe even California.
If I survive long enough, or manage to make a deal with Satan after I find the gates of Hell, I will be sure to post pictures.
Also, I would love some assistance on locating the Gates of Hell. I believe I heard rumors it may be in New Jersey, but other rumors that if we all worked together in conglomerate Satanic Rituals we could just summon the gates anywhere.

google maps has pin pointed potential locations of the Gates of Hell! I was skeptical it would be helpful, since to this day it is unable to determine the location of Mordor, but I suppose one doesn't simply walk into Morder afterall...

| | | | GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! I've found the Gates of Hell after several months of painstaking research! It's so obvious. I just have to climb the demon horse and gauge out its demonic eyeballs or just put tape over them, then the true Gates of Hell will appear. If I can conquer the silly surreal horse on chair by the library, I can tame this vicious beast. The two horses are related despite one of them being blue with red eyes, I think they're like second cousins or something.

| | | | Well for anyone wanting to know the 'true' story of the supposed Gates of Hell located in Thornton. The area that used to be called that back in the 70s/80s is no longer there. It had been the ruins of the Wolpert Mansion located around the 9200 block of Riverdale Road but they were bulldozed I believe around mid/late 80s. This is due to a couple of years of on/off research and a bazillion trips to the library, historical society and begging people for info.
There is an area way north on Riverdale Road that was an old granite/marble factor but that is NOT the location of where the "gates of hell" were at as the little children of today believe it to be.
All that remains today of 'the gates of hell' is some burned brick and broken glass in the open space area where the Mansion once stood.

How can you tell? Theres little to no structure that suggests it's actually an elevator plus it would only go down, which I guess would make sense if it indeed went to Hell, but is there some hidden suspension cable or something somewhere I might have missed?
