On Maitland, large 18 wheeler containers in the back, and open doors as of recent, anyone know any info?

It looks like it's attached to the Met on Gottingen, which they're planning on tearing down... but I don't know when. Maybe they're letting all the rats out the back doors first..

Is it abandoned? I may make a trip there on my rounds tomorrow.

I'd be very careful around any building in my neighbourhood... there's a lot of crackheads around here.

Yeah, there's been half a dozen houses/buildings in this area I'd love to have checked out but worried about the crackheads and never bothered. A lot have been torn down this year, and some more slated for demo, but if you're brave enough... go for it.

i know that building. its been through a lot of legal battles over the years over ownership, including a fight over who had to pay to clean out the mold and rats which apparently both infest the building. but it does have an actual owner, who does show up occasionally to chase out the crackheads and clean up a bit. i have no idea what its inside condition is.

the buildings on both sides are occupied and busy, one of them is a hostel and has people coming and going at all hours. it's pretty secure most times, and you're not getting in without a prybar. if its open now, i suggest you make the most of your opportunity.
but keep in mind you have a 50/50 chance of getting arrested for trespassing, or getting bitten by crackheads.

Me and a few fellas went in the side. 2 entrances in, and it seems that theres a lot of stuff kicking around inside, stereo equipment ect. Didnt see any crackheads, but you never know right, still might be worth the venture, all I need is my mag light back >.>
