| | | This place is very cool. The guards are constantly on patrol, but don't seem to be that bright. Cave76 and I convinced them we were horticulture exchange students from Trinity College. Fake Irish accents and the whole bit. We got a quick tour, and then were left to wander around and do what we wanted for several hours, all after sunset, which is when Riverview is officially closed to the public. Rumour has it there is a single tunnel on the premises, from the Crease building to the dining hall. Can anyone confirm this? neptix

The Wraith's website mentions tunnels. And I am certain pictures have been posted on this forum before.

| | | Sweet. I have to admit, the Crease building scares the crap out of me. I'm pretty sure anyone else who's been in there knows what I'm talking about. I'm not exactly the superstitious type, but that building has seen some seriously messed up stuff.

| | | The very first time I was in Crease at Riverview, in the tunnel, I heard the freakiest noise, it sounded like an old woman being tortured. It would just happen once then, stop... then a few minutes later, do it again. Walking in tunnels under an asylum, hearing that, is a special kind of weird feeling... It was a machine starting up every once in awhile, sounded so weird...
It requires wisdom to understand wisdom: the music is nothing if the audience is deaf. |

| | | Today I met some roofers who redid the roofs and gutters on Crease Clinic about a year ago. (I think it was about a year ago.) They had some funny stories to tell.

Someone stole a lot of (expensive) roofing material and a lot of tools from off the roof. It would have been impossible to have taken these things down through a staircase in the building. (Is it even possible to access the roof from inside the building?) It's been speculated that one of the guys doing gutters stayed a bit late and stole the stuff. The thief would have had to have used the genie lift to bring down the loot from the roof and there were only a few people who had the keys to the genie lift. I don't know about you, but we found the idea of this brazen thief bringing down his loot in a genie lift to be quite amusing. Also, asbestos is evil.
