|  | | | This isn’t exactly thread worthy but for those that may be interested, the esteemed local filmmaker Jason Eisener’s new film will have scenes shot both inside and outside of the Rehab Center and possibly York Redoubt. You can watch the adults-only trailer for the exploitation flick here:

I may or may not have stumbled upon the set of this film months ago. It was pretty eerie to walk into one of the smaller buildings and find this gruesome aftermath...

I'm pretty excited for this. His first film, Fist of Death remains one of my favorite movies of all time and partly took place in the now demolished YMCA building in Dartmouth.

That doesn't mean it has to be rubbish though. Look at what was achieved with next to no budget and a maritime staff on Trailer Park Boys, for instance.

Ok, I'll bite my tongue here and not even point out such obviously hard to grasp concepts such as; a good film performs a function pertaining to each of the viewers enjoyment, which is different for every viewer, making films a subjective matter. Or that just because you didn't like a two minute clip of the movie, does not mean the whole entire thing is going to be "rubbish".
No, I won't point that out. I will instead point out that Robb Wells(Ricky) from the Trailer Park Boys apparently has a leading role in this movie.

No you are right - there are always plenty of retards who will eat up any old shit. Just look at the box office figures for Transformers 1 and 2, for instance.

I'll reserve judgment till I've seen the whole movie. Honestly, you are right - a two minute clip of what the marketing team belive to be the best of the movie doesn't really tell you anything.
I'm not saying I think the movie will be shit or will be great - I'm simply passing judgement on the trailer, which tells me little and sets me up for disapointment.
I dunno, I'd just like to know more about the plot than see 666 more litres of fake blood. Personal preference, I guess?

Yes, I do believe I saw his head coming off earlier. I also wonder if it would be short sighted to think that a single actor (or actors) you like and were good in something else could make a bad movie any better.

| | | | Those two photos are from inside the long building behind the rehab centre. Most of the scenes from that trailer are from the rehab and the NS Hospital on the Dartmouth waterfront.
