The Drains from 'IT'

So I just rented 'Stephen King's IT' on Netflix, and they show a bunch of scenes with drains in them. In particular, there is this scene of the entrance to the drains that looks almost like a castle. While I imagine a lot of the interior shots of the drains beneath the city of Derry (fictional town where IT takes place) are actually set pieces, I'm hoping that at least the exterior is real.

Is this location real? Has anyone found it? And best of all, has anyone taken pictures?

From my research, the exterior drain is located in Stanley Park, Vancouver. I can't seem to dig up any pictures on it though.

Other filming locations include New Westminster and Buntzen Lake, Anmore in British Columbia.

Maybe the drain itself is boring, but the history (cite of a classic horror tv movie with a drain-dwelling serial killer clown) is quite interesting.

As far as I remember, some scenes which were supposed to be with "IT" in a drain, looking up out of the gutter, were actually shot in the tunnel area previously at Woodlands (at the detoc center to be exact).

Under where Maple Cottage was. My mom spent some time in there, as a patient. I spent time there later, as an explorer!!

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too!
