I think the answer largely depends on what you're trying to do with the image. If you're trying to create art while still documenting reality then #2 is the way to go. If you don't mind the fact that in real life, the wall to the left isn't leaning at a 75degree angle then go with #1. It's all personal taste.

I'd have to say my preference is #2 because it both documents the subject in a realistic manner AND it highlights the subject of the photo which is the lines and depth of the left wall coupled with the convergence of the braces leading from the window frames.
