And the drool is not rabies, possums do that when they're pissed off. They are actually very clean animals. They're marsupials, kinda like kangaroos or koalas ,a more primitive form of mammal with a lower body temperature than other mammals, making them immune to rabies and most other disease. This gives the possum a distinct advantage being the only marsupial that lives here.
This opossum does not make a good pet, you have to find one thats still a baby if you want one for a pet. This possum is going into the stewpot this weekend, ok just kidding. He is going into the truck or hotel room of one of my more candy ass coworkers and we plan to video tape the ordeal. We also got a little corn snake to go in his cigarette pack. So after he escapes the possum, he will likely smoke a cigarette to calm down, but instead a snake jumping out at him.
This dude screams when he touches a spider web, so we know this will be good.

The opossum part will be hilarious, but I think I'd kill someone for the snake part. lol I also scream about spiders...and I'm not a fan of snakes either.

I remember catching these things when I was a kid and one time we put one in a cage and tried to make it a pet for a couple of days. We basically had to try and throw food through the bars of the cage when we wanted to feed it because it didn't stop hissing or slamming against the side of the cage once. He would also bite the wire of the cage and his huge teeth would be dripping drool just like in your pic haha They don't like people...

exactly, thats the whole point of it.
perhaps i should put mine in a cage, right now i just been letting them run around my hotel room and putting them in the closet so they dont bite my dick off when i'me sleeping

I found a 100's of newspapers from world war I in an abandoned farm house in my town. a couple of them were actually from the 1880's, gave some to my teachers and still have the rest in a box in my garage somewhere.
they were in really good shape considering they were all stuffed in a closet in a leaky old house, there was a really cool old tv in great shape that looked like it was from the early 1950's, might go grab it over thanksgiving break.
