	I've never posted here, I don't think, nor do I claim to be a photographer, but I got an excellent shot the other day (in my mind) and would love to know what you real photographers think. I've been getting a lot better lately with my camera and trying new things, and shooting more and more. I use a nikon d40. Tweaked it a bit with iphoto, just straightened it and cropped it, and toned down the highlights to bring out the clouds. Let me know where I can improve and what not. Thanks in advance. Well storms were coming from one side, while sun was shining from the other, so it is very bright outside, but it was dark behind it. Nice contrast I guess.

	king, im no expert but i think photos are like wine. theres no right way to make them. i like this photo better than 10,000 others ive seen in my life and most the time someone got paid to take the photos we see every day. dont let some douche tell you otherwise. plus you made a REAL funny pun joke on someones photoset that i was reading, so...

Thanks man, puns are my kinda my thing. I appreciate your advice, and tend to agree with you. And, no, no douche will ever tell me anything about anything, and still have me listen to them, just wanted to know what someone else thought about it. Thank you.

	The exposure is dead on. It's a nice shot but your composition is lacking. Take some time to read about the Rule of thirds. Also consider your perspective when shooting photos of a static subject.
