so, the story I've always heard was one night, a man had an affair with a woman at a hotel up the road. Unfortunately, his wife found out, showed up, and shot her husband. After that, the hotel shut down, and has been abandoned ever since.
it's always been an interesting place, the owners left everything in it's original place. even to the extent that food was left in the refrigerators in the kitchen! it has some damage done, but some rooms are less touched than others. there are one or two hotel rooms left completely intact, beds made, and tvs still plugged in.
so we decided to go back, and this time with a camera!

The hotel just fell on hard times ... had nothing to do with us.
