I have a feeling you leaving very subtle hints here. Which means, we have a tonne of work to do.

Some doors cannot be picked/pried/oxy-torched/exploded open.

I don't know about that, but I found out through UEA(UE Alberta) that there is a structure around the legislature area(or somewhere very close). From the sounds of it,this one was sunken even lower than this Cold War shelter.

DO WORK!
| | Re: Edmonton: Strathcona Bomb Shelter <Reply # 44 on 5/13/2010 3:55 PM >
| | | when i was in Alberta a few months ago i checked out the shelter and thought there would be a pretty good shot at getting in the entrance in the ravine. the bottom left corner was pried out atleast a few inches. the unpleasant part is that almost any entry made into the bomb shelter would not be disguise-able and would leave it open to more vandalism.

| | | This bunker really isn't very interesting at all. It's small and dirty with very few interesting items left behind. It's also full of asbestos ridden tiles and insulation. I know it looks cool but if you get inside you'll probably be disappointed...
