| | | hello all, newcomer here with his first drain. I stumbled upon this site while on the web and it influenced me to go go on my own journey. I found this out fall in edmonton on the north sask. river just south of 99B st and 95A ave. It isn't locked or barred, its a 10-15 ft opening you just lower yourself in. I continued down with my friend to a fork in the road. The path going straight was a icy uphill and was unsafe. We took the right path (which after getting to surface goes under mill creek ravine) This was a long walk, there were little sewers (man hole diameter) along this but had water or growth in them. We did come across a ladder going up to a manhole but continued on. The next thing was a opening but it went straight up there was another level but no way to get there except with 20 ft ladder. Kept going down to a 6ft diameter sewer pipe we skipped for now and down the main tunnel more. At the end it just went up to a sloped steel grating. My friend climbed up the ladder to see if he could get door part open but it too full of old lumber and wood. So we went back to 6ft sewer and went down that the end of that was another up wards tunnel to nowhere. i couldn't see all the way up cuz of fog. But between this shaft and the main tunnel was another manhole to the surface which is at 95A st and 80 ave. There was a bunch of stoners who tripped out seeing us exit and ran away, that was quite amusing. On climb up I left a rod and I dropped my flash light on the climb up so if anybody goes down and see's it tell me if it survived the fall lol. Also if anybody else has been here have you been on the upper levels of this area? It seem neat to get up there. I got a few pics of place myself but the fog was to thick at places so there's not many pics. I'll post them tomorrow I've got an errand to do before sunset. Any more info about this place would be appreciated. (I quickly looked in form about this place but didn't find much link me if I missed it.) [last edit 4/25/2010 3:37 AM by thegerm - edited 1 times]
