I'm just getting back in to UER after a long hiatus. Not really sure what kept me away; living in security-insane Boston was probably what pushed me over the edge. (Home of the Mooninite Scare!) Anyways, I went for a stroll in Wheeling, WV a few weekends ago, and came upon an abandoned diesel loading dock. The pictures aren't much to look at, but, in the interest of completeness, they might as well be documented somewhere.

This whole area (Wheeling) is filled with all kinds of abandoned industrial stuff. Plenty of it, however, remains, in some sort of half-use. One place I was sure was dead as anything, when the electric crane started up. And proceeded to drop a half/ton steel ball on to an old casting to break it up. Whoops.
