Why would he stop after all this time?

The guy who referred me to the feed, I'm going to contact him and ask him about past outages.

He could have had a dispute with the administrator?

He could have just got tired of providing the feed?

Could have blown his brains out, and his team of dogs ate him?

Could have frozen to death, while attempting routine antenna maintenance?

It's back online!!

Its up now. This weekend was the first time I've ever seen in down. I've only been listening to it off and on for the past two weeks maybe so I can't say for sure how often that happens.

That's probably all it is, I was havin' fun with scenarios. You're welcome to move over and listen to the south bay regional feed for a bit. I think it's seven or eight agencies, it's very busy. Even though it's not in your area, at least it's something.

I was listening to New York, and New Jersey over the weekend.....

I see you're back up, cool.

I don't need a scanner to know whats up in my neighbourhood.

I can hear fire trucks cruising by.

The feed confirms a fire only a couple blocks from my house.

I was checkin' out Halifax on Google Earth, you have some beautiful country up there, I'd love to have that much open land, and lakes nearby.

You're almost an Island I see, Just that little chunk of land where Westmoreland is at. Looks like 30 miles or so?

Looks like a great place, stay safe.

Two murders in two days. No stabbies in a few days, AFAIK.

Speaking of stabbings, it was amusing to see the Bruce editorial cartoon in the paper of the herald showing the dude changing the sign for 'Welcome to Halifax 0 days without a stabbing

Scratch that. At least one of those murders was the result of a stabbing.

I do believe it was the one in Millwood where the guy killed his mother then ran up the road naked.

Oh Halifax is just SOOOOO stabby!!!

/Can't talk: Glasgow, Scotland gets on average 127 stabbing deaths per year.

Chris...

We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit.

Yeah, we've been encrypted in part (and then in whole) since the 1990s.
