|  | | | I put this in UE Photography already; but wanted to share it in the Mid-Atlantic Region as well..
This place was a bit of a hot area.. but as the K-9 units and police vans made their rounds; I just pretended I really gave a shit about the exterior of the building and held my camera up like I was taking a shot each time they passed. Then once the timing was right I made my way in. It looked as though this building closed in the mid-eighties; but I found a calender from Oct. 1997 so I'm assuming that was the closure date.

It was a health center for "troubled people" - also housed an adolescent treatment floor as well.

Before you even reach the shelter you'll have to kiss your ass goodbye as soon as that flash of light appears when the ground shakes. This place looks insane, I hope it's still there when I come back from college in May.

Yeah its a pretty cool place, but hardly worth the risk. Go solo and play your cards right if you do decide to hit it up.

That's why it's called a "Fallout Shelter" it's not designed to protect against a nuclear blast but the radioactive fallout that can spread 10 times as far.
