Ok alot of people are aware that Heritage Park in Ft. Worth is just sort of sitting there empty of life. So A friend of mine and I had absolutely nothing to do one day and decided to get inside take some pics and wander around the river by the bridge and what not so...its not real exciting but hey not everywhere can be a 100 yr. old mental hospital right..lol. Anyway here are the pics.

I agree. It's sad they let this place go to waste.

Yeah, we cant afford to maintain this, or the water gardens, but we're dumping money into a JFK statue.

Really? They're no longer maintaining the Water Gardens? And where is this statue going to be?

They aren't maintaining it properly. That's actually the reason those people got killed there. The pumps were supposed to keep the water down a lot lower, but they weren't working properly.

It's not falling in ruin, like heritage, but it's not what it used to be either. Some of the jets aren't working right etc....little stuff, but annoying.

I'm not sure if the statue got approved or not, but it was supposed to be down town somewhere. I thought it was a dumb idea personally.
