| | | My brother and I went to Kidd Springs Underground Creek near downtown Dallas last night, it can be found on the UE DB. It was a very interesting drain indeed. We ran into a couple of raccoons, which was the first time I have seen wildlife in a drain. It was also ridiculously easy to find, surprising more people do not know about it. All in all, it was a very successful night, full of adventure. All shots were taken with a Nikon D40 with a Nikkor 18-55mm lens. 25 sec exposure f/5 I am a beginner with no education in the field of photography, so by all means, feel free to tell me what you think. I have only been using this camera for about 1 month now, and I feel as if though I am beginning to understand it, thanks to those who provided some of the posts on here related to photography. BTW, any help on how to layer several photos on PS would be much appreciated. Thanks UE community!

| | | thats a great find, it seems like you already know what you expect from your photos. Keep shooting, when that gets old, shoot some more. the black and white would have made more sense if there was more light........but all in all, cool stuff. keep at it

Thanks a lot man! Yeah, I agree about the black and white photo, but, there was almost no color in the photo anyway, believe it or not I actually turned the saturation UP! Anyway, thanks for the kind words.

| | | The trick with night photography is to make a lot of images. You have a DSLR, so get a cable release and experiment with longer exposures. Keep it around f/5.6 to stay sharp. Did I mention you should make a lot of images? Just try random shit and see what works.

| | | Nice...I'm not a drainer, but I gotta say that this is one of the more photogenic ones I've seen. Well done.
