Funny, I like the other two. The vignetting in the first one is a touch strong but it's a great shot.

| | | Nicely done, though I agree about the vignette being much too strong. I'd also try correcting for the distortion, and getting those verticals vertical again, and see how that looks.

| | | thanks a ton for the feedback guys in regards to the barrel distortion, i honestly just forgot to fix that. the 18-105vr is known for being super err distort-y at 18mm. im going to go back today to shoot some more, i hope i can find a more discreet way in. as for the camera, its a budget slr right around $450 or so for the kit. a lot of people knock it but im pretty happy with it. its super compact and the kit lens is actually pretty good. in fact the 18-55 kit lens is sharper than the 18-105 i usually have on there but i just prefer having a lens with a little longer reach for daily use.

| | | I'm not sure if it is a dust spot in the first one or not, but either way dot in the upper right hand of the sky holds my attention. I find that I keep going back to it over and over instead of looking at your subject. A quick clone should help. The vignette is also a little much, but that has already been said. I'm personally not a fan of heaving editing but others may be so I won't go into that. I also think that if you do a really warm edit on one, try and do it to the other and likewise with cold toned images.

| | | Good work, but they seemed a little over edited. Do you have a polarizing filter? If so, I would recommend using it. The angle in the third picture seems a little boring. I'm not sure what to think of number 2, my opinion keeps swaying, mostly about the blur on the background, but I really enjoy the angle. Overall this is a wonderful set, but it would be stronger with out all the editing. Your photography is too good for that. [last edit 12/16/2009 5:53 PM by gutterbabies - edited 1 times]

| | | I guess I have a lot to learn because to me, all three of those images look amazing! Would you mind sharing exactly what you did to each image, from how you photographed it to how you edited it (in Photoshop, I'm assuming)? It looks so artistic, yet so natural. I'd love to learn, as I'm sure would lots of others on the site. Thanks!
