| | | These Pics were taken in one or two locations that i have visited with a good friend of mine, also in the UE community and out of respect of him and the sites i will not list where they are. I was hoping to get some opinions on my pictures and see what people think. The Cam that i own and use is a Cannon Rebel XTi and i mostly use a EF-S 55-250 1:4-5.6 IS lens with a duel stack UVHD and stacked on that a Circular Polarizer filters. With that these are my first photos and post on this site and i'm hoping that I can make a impression. With that out of the way onto the photos 1. title Shoes focal lenght 90mm, Aperture f/4.0, no flash, White Balance Manual, lens EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS 2. Title Light Show focal lenght 18.0mm, aperture f/3.5, no flash, Thite balence manual, lens EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 3. Title Pinio focal lenght 79.0mm, aperture unknown, no flash, White balance Manual, lens unknown 4. Title Thedocisin focal lenght 45.0mm, aperture f/4.5, no flash, White Balance Manual, lens EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 all values pulled from PS Bridge

| | | Any reason why you're dual stacking UV filters? The photos are decent but nothing that makes me go wow. -Photo #1 is out of focus -Photo #2 is pretty cool, lower your ISO to get rid of the noise. -Photo #3 is my favorite, nice depth of field. Might work better in color. Again, lower your ISO. -Photo #4 lacks composition, it's more of a snap shot.

| | | -Photo #1 is out of focus i noticed that far to long after taking the picture did my best with PS to make it better. -Photo #2 is pretty cool, lower your ISO to get rid of the noise. Photo was taken with an ISO 100 and a 30 sec exposure, A lot of the noise came from post process because if i had posted as shot the pic would be black save for the lights. -Photo #3 is my favorite, nice depth of field. Might work better in color. Again, lower your ISO. I belive this was taken at ISO 200 with a 2 second exposure an the color is kind of bland so i shot this in monocrome. -Photo #4 lacks composition, it's more of a snap shot. If i have posted that other one i would have ben hit on color cause it was taken in a sepiea so in process i added the color back in.
Thank you for the comment though i will make sure that next time i am out i keep those in mind.

| | | You don't need filters on the lens and it's part of the reason why the photos are unsatisfactory. You can leave a UV filter on to protect the lens if you desire. But stacking multiple filters is only going to up the exposure times and grainer, poorer quality images. You don't need a polarizing filter unless you are photographing through a window or through water. Take the filters off, get a tripod, shoot at aperture f/5.6-f/8, ISO 200-800 in dark areas and 100-200 in brighter areas for best results. Adjust your shutter speed accordingly.
