LOL thanks. The second one was kinda wierd, looked like maybe some kid(s) had been living there. Runaways perhaps? Either that or their hideout/fort. Wish I had a place like this when I was a kid.
And for the record, these are all "normal" photography shots, no more HDR from me on this board

I like the last shot in the second row- the place is getting completely absorbed by vegetation.

Thanks, it was pretty cool/creepy looking. Caught my eye when I drove past it. Its actually right off the interstate. That pic I was standing right at the gate 5 feet form the road. I was using a 10mm lens, so it looks as though I'm a little further away.

Haven't explored that far East yet, but I was born not far away in Edenton.

I become capability. I become the horror. What we know we can become only in our heart of darkness. It's my gift. It's my curse.

Nice shots, you even got the customary toilet shot in there. No graffiti and no broken windows that I noticed, looks perfect.

Well...... crap........

Yeah, gotta have a toilet shot! lol. My buddy peed in it. I told him it was kinda pointless using it given the condition of the house, lol. And no, he didn't try to flush, haha

Chesapeake, Virginia. My wife's grandmother lives in Plymouth, North Carolina. I'll be down there thanksgiving weekend too, hoping to check out a couple places I saw last time

Very nice, I love the vines covering that one house

The blind lead the blind into bottomless pits,
Still we smile and deny that we're cursed.
But of all our iniquities ignorance may be the worst.

Using a Nikon D90. The lens is a Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6. Its cheaper than than the Tokina, although the tokina is f2.8. I was able to get it used off eBay for a pretty good deal. It was in perfect condition too. That and my 90mm Macro are my favorite lenses for sure.

This area is about an hour and a half away from me. There is an over-abundance of abandoned farmhouses out in Plymouth and especially in Englehard. If you want more of the same try Englehard as well. Is there any way you could point more out were this is so I could check it out as well?
