|  | | | Hey everyone, has anyone had any luck exploring the closed down Children's Hospital by St.Joesph's? Myself and a few others went down there and got caught about 45 mins after we started checking it out, the place is amazing, but we got no pics. If you've gotten further or have pics please share

Seriously, Novemberico actually talked to security there - St. Joe's is moving in, and its under renovation. Its not an abandonment, which means potentially a lot more trouble, and cops won't be remotely understanding, even if you use the whole "Just taking pics leaving teh footprintz kthnxbai" line.
I was totally bummed - I was stoked at the idea of a creepy, abandoned hospital just a couple of blocks away from my place.

Well we were there about 2 years ago right after they moved. And it probably didn't help that Imprez stared down the cops sitting in an unmarked car. They were pretty pissed off that night. Don't blame them. I don't like being stared at either. That was pretty priceless though.

I had an officer in an unmarked car chase me for half an hour, with no lights or anything, because he thought I had hit him. Everyone had stopped on the highway, he hit MY car (proven by the marks, impossible for me to hit him since I was in front of him and the gouge showed it was him forced into ME)...anyway...
He expected a 4'11" girl to pull over for some maniac driving behind me like he's going to run me off the road. Finally he called for backup and a real car showed up, and pulled me over. I was like "thank God" and she pushed me on the back of my car, searched me, and told me "you hit a cop"....
Cops aren't usually nice and I swear most of them aren't really all there.

there is still the abandoned psychiatric ward at rose, its fenced and there is a construction crew stationed there last time i checked, but nothing beats this place in abandoned creepy and hospitable ness. Its very reminiscent of 28 weeks later...
