Hey all i dont think there has been thread on this place yet but i know there has been a couple post's on it, from what i have seen noone has really checked out the place or actually knows much about it, now ive been to this place hundreds of times when i was younger we used to play around them untill we got in trouble. since then i have been up a few times with a few different people. and a couple camera's the pictures im going to post now are off my digital camera from my most recent trip there. these pictures are actually of inside the tunnel's and i will post a few shots of the "general's" bunker as i call it and the gun emplacements but for now here are some shot's of inside

I first went to the elevator shaft, and then so my girlfriend could come down we went to latter entrance so we could do that while it was light out,1.

so these pictures here are from the ladder entrance (note to self never go out with mr. M's girlfriend) it was a very cool little exploration except i had been in this exact tunnel before but it was much harder to gain entry to ( i had broken three sets of tools i used on the first trip)
so after i had taken enuf pictures in this particular tunnel and the girls were back up top we decided to scare our girlfriends before going back up which ended with me being hit my a small rock lol.

once back up it was getting dark so i decided i would do a quick decent into the elevator shaft.
now i only brought my knotted rope because it was only about a 30ft drop to the bottom and i trust my climbing skills. it was a little bit creepy because of what the bottom looks like (see pic 5/16) in the end i was the only one brave enuf to actually go down the rope
here are a few pictures of inside this one

after a long day i wasn't able to get pictures of everything i wanted to because i spent so much time in the tunnels but i feel that it was a good trip that i will do many times again as stated earlier i will post some pictures of the surrounding area that i took awhile back (need to recharge my video camera)
hope you all enjoy

Lots of shots! Looks like you went on quite the expedition there. Thanks for the tour and all your pictures.

I have seen a bit of both, and i agree, i think there was a set standard at the time. There are many more gun placements around Victoria...well worth the time to find them.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too!

i pretty sure there was a some sort of set standard, from all the one's ive seen they are all pretty similar. i can think of five off the top of my head all right along the coast, i really like this one for the fact the site has been closed down and the only time that people go up there is to service a radio tower and to check on the bat's.
this location is well worth the trip and if you can find the open entrance to the tunnel's Good job.

if anyone wants to go up there im always open to go back "it's one of my many playgrounds i love to go back to"

Thats pretty badass. It reminds me of some of the bunkers you can find along the coast of Normandy. It looks far more extensive though.

Very cool. I think it's a magazine judging by the racks on the wall and shell hoist you climbed down.
