| | | The best way to get into the scene in Denver is to come out to one of our meetups. There'll be one in the next month or so. Check out parts of Commerce City, North Denver, places where there will be a lot of old industrial facilities. You'll find something.

Really?
Welcome to Denver! Do you mean to say you've been to Iraq? Have you been to Kuwait? There are some -sick- abandonments out there! for instance: The scene and exploring in this city are two completely separate things, unfortunately; everyone has different motives and preferences when it comes to UE. The meet-up will get you `in the scene,' but waiting for a meaningful one to happen is unreasonable. I'd say avoid the fluff, talk, and glamour, and go drive around in parts of denver that look run-down or industrial and try to get into places. There are interesting buildings everywhere, just take a second to go out and look for places on your own or with a friend! It's urban exploration, go explore your urban area!

Flood middle school? It may look abandoned but has been bought to be turned into a private school. My husbands company got the electrical order 2 weeks ago. There is a huge difference between abandoned and vacant. Parts of CU hospital are still in use so I wouldn't recommend that either, check Google maps, or just go out and drive, there are a ton of places out east of Denver. Hope that helps.

Ive been to gates, never encountered paranoid security guard, as for CU hospital, ive been to the pyske ward very interesting place although parts of the hospital are indeed still in use and the other parts are active construction sites, construction when present leaves at 5 or 6 though theres a fence there now so they definitely upped security recently
