| | | I'm going to be heading out there at the end of August, but was wondering if any of you have had any experience with this facility - or had any tips in regards to access/exploration within it. Thanks! =)

| | | Umm I think Western state? Or some state is gone. It is either completely demolished or partially. At any rate its pretty much just a foundation.. -Tom

| | | I'm not sure that even the rubble is still there, I heard quite a while ago that they were going to clean a lot of it up. Even if any ruins remain, they're not even worth the gas in my opinion.

| | | I used to play in the rubble while mountain biking in the surrounding park, and I know for a fact that the rubble is mostly buried, with a new dedicated area that explains what the fort/hospital was, etc, with some of the rubble left as ornamentation. Cool to see, but not what you're looking for, and definitely not worth the drive from outside of Pierce County. This is what some of it used to look like, there was a lot of trash and graffiti since it was so easy to get to: http://www.angelfi...ospital/sarah.html http://www.angelfi...pital/invest5.html
