Ethics of B&E

So... there are a couple of locations near me that look really cool, but are locked up. On one, there is a padlock, and the other has a sheet of plywood screwed over the cellar door. Is there any sort of consensus here about the ethics of either cutting a lock or removing screws from boarded entries? I am fully aware of the legal consequences, but how do other UE's feel?

If you use the search function there are a myriad of threads based around ethics. I think that UER as a site includes something about take only photos, leave only footprints. B&E is almost as frowned upon around here as starting threads that will likely end in an ethics debate--not trying to flame, just (hopefully) saving you some time.
