	Do any of you explore the smaller towns around the cities? I, sadly enough, do not live in the city, but in Chesterfield, Virginia. I'm not far from Richmond though. Anyway, I explored my first abandonment, although it was just an old hollowed out house. I'll post pictures when I go back to it this weekend. Anyway, how many of us explore the off limit zones outside of cities?

Agreed.

In my area, there's a lot more to be seen in the suburbs than in really urban, populated areas.

	I live in suburbia also, just outside of Chicago. Your not alone with exploring smaller area's. I've mostly explored the country though in rural farm area's. There is plenty to find everywhere, you just gotta look for it. We are mole people!

	The term "Urban Exploring" is pretty much just a short way to say: "Exploring Man-made Structures." City, suburb, rural and desolate locations all fall under UE, to a certain extent anyways.

	I live in a small town in the middle of farmland so most of what I find is rural - houses, agricultural buildings and the odd manufacturing or processing site. I usually find these while pursuing my main non-UE interest of abandoned and pioneer cemetaries. Sadly due to the current state of the auto industry I fear there are going to be a lot of feeder plants that I will be able to explore soon in town.
