Bendigo's drains

Just wondered if any of the Aussies here had explored Bendigo's drain system, I have seen photos of Ballarat's old bluestone darkie and egg shaped tunnels and wondered if Bendigo was similar. I have only walked up the stormwater canal that runs through the middle of town (Bendigo Creek) but did notice tunnels that outfalled into the creek, never had the guts to go in any of them though!
But as of late I am hoping to go for a drive to Bendigo and have a look see at it's drainage system. Bendigo is well over 150 years old so it's tunnels should be very cool.
