WuffyFluff is stuck at DIA. Someone please go hook up with him and take him out to do something, possibly give him a place to sleep tonight. He needs to be back to the airport by 8am.

Sounds like the perfect excuse to UE the airport!

The wacky new world order/UFO conspiracy clan rumor mill used to be claiming that the reason the airport went way over budget being built was because of a 'black' (which means extremely secret) bunker concurrently built below the airport.

Well that site, along with the links within has consumed a bit of my day. Anyone actually know anything about this?

Some of it seems really far fetched, but who knows anymore.

Well, I see you're listing your location as Pueblo, & the ironic thing is that during the 1980s, there was a very highly classified unit operating out of the Pueblo Depot which had a post (nuclear) war continuity of government mission.

Sometimes there's an interesting grain of truth that causes the rumors to be started, but that's the exception, not the rule, especially with some of these new world order/UFO conspiracy believers.

Yeah, it was only started because of the name of the group that was formed to oversee the construction of DIA which is called the New World Airport Commission which the tin-foil hat fruitcakes thought sounded simular to the New World Order.

Basically, its all bullshit.

I have lived here pretty much all my life and I have never heard of this. Granted I have never been to the depot, so I know nothing about it.

Thanks for the info

Well, the unit was highly-classified, and despite what some people like to think, the military is able to maintain some secrets. The unit left the Pueblo Chemical Depot shortly before an agreement was signed with Russia that allowed for delegations to visit depots that stored chemical weapons.

I seem to recall some UE'able stuff in Pueblo, at the airport (which was an old Army Air Field):

Your mission --should you choose to accept it -- is to UE that train!

Lots of WW-II & Cold War era stuff at & near the old La Junta Army Air Field:
