Are there home depot's in Canada? I got mine there long ago when I still figured I needed one too. It was 30$ if I recall.

Trust me though, you probably won't wear it much. It's annoying, sweaty, and interferes with picture taking.

The reason I ask is because we walked through Millbrook Jail today and there was black mold in the jail cell area. was worried about getting sick?

Mold's bad stuff. Are your lungs worth $25 or so? Find someone who will sell you the 3m 6000 half-mask, and get a NIOSH p100 filter (like http://www.restock...=100F1&Bvar7=100F1) . I went with the 'medium' and found it to be very comfortable to use. I've yet to find one that's easy to talk in, though. Enunciate!

The filters for particulates are good until they are difficult to breathe through. And obligatory "use the search" comment, but don't kill yourself on black death mold.

I bought a new 3m large half face on eBay for 12 dollars. He included 4 p100's in the price

Leaving it as I found it since 1987.

Well I use http://www.drillspot.com/ only because they ship from NJ which gets to my doorstep in CT the usually same day it leaves their warehouse. They are not the cheapest.

3M 6200 respirator (Medium Size fits 95% of people... Large/Small size are a rare exception).

Buy the respirator and cartridges separate. You should expect to pay approximately $10 USD for the respirator and $10 USD for filters $20 USD for the cartridges (10 USD ~ 12-13 CAD).

I personally find the "Bayonet Cartridges" to be too heavy. I bought the most universal Bayonet Cartidge; but it's too bulky to wear comfortably. A basic filter is all you need. I bought the P100/Acid Gas because it was the best value.

I got mine at Canadian Tire.

Being concerned about mold is good. Millbrook's lower level has a shit tonne of it. I think, though, it is still too cold for it to be a problem. Going when it is warmer, though, might not be the best idea unprotected.
