Location help..

Can anyone help.. I located the titan 1 site on google maps.. But when I drove out there I could not find the road that they are showing on the map. I only saw gates and not a road off the north as it shows. It was frustrating cause I want to do this site and get a good idea what kind of gear I need to bring. If anyone can help shed some light on this I would appreciate it very much. Thanks.

No.. Totally understand that.. I'm new to this site that's fair. I just wanted to make sure it was still active and not shut down or on private land. I'm gonna go out again soon to find the bastard lol.. Push comes to shove I have a buddy that has been there and ill have him take me.

well, as an answer to those questions, all the Titan Is have been shut down and abandoned since the mid 60s. and the one i'm pretty sure you're referring to is most definitely on private land.

hint: don't park on top of it. the sheriff will eat you alive.

Yeah that's what I figured.. Thanks for the advice.. Have you heard about an abandoned school up in the boulder area. I have a close friend that went to it but can't remember exactly its position. He said you have to hike into it.. Just curious if you have heard anything about this.

Deffo never heard of an abandoned school up this way. I believe there used to be one in Boulder but vacant land doesn't last a minute in town so it's long gone.

Yeah.. I donno this was a couple years back so you are probably right. He said it was across this field and it had a bunch of stuff left behind in it. I would love to photograph that. Anyway. Kind of new to this stuff and trying to locate some stuff to explore. Any hints where I could begin.. I'm on the south side of denver and its suburban city here lol.. Driving me crazy.. Properties too valuable to abandon.. Lol

Yeah.. I heard about that one.. Wish I could have hit it up before it was being renovated. Its hard to find good places that are not right in the city. I've explored a bit in the lodo area and some abandoned stuff there but the real cool stuff is the more rural locations. Usually its more intact and not as dangerous (crazy bums) that the city has. Does this area offer any kind of like meeting? I saw the posting on it but is it still on or what?

There was a meet a few weeks ago. It was pretty bitchin but mostly consisted of us dodging hipsters and me eating Sockpupp and Orogeny's food. When we did get around to exploring we pretty much just drove around and fell asleep. Once the weather is warmer and folks aren't in school I'd imagine there will be more happenin'.

Yeah.. That's cool. I'm just trying to figure out what's to see on the south side of town. I have driven around a bit but can't really find any stuff. I've seen some places off broadway but dealing with druggies and bums is not a cool thing to have to deal with. Most of my explores have been real rural and off the beaten track. If u have any suggestions I would love to hear em lol. The db for my area seems to also be outdated.. Are those still around..

how far south are you?
There's things here but you really got to burn some gas and do a lot of looking around. Today I found a trippy house that says "little kings welcome here" written on it - it's definately abandoned - I just got to become a little king now.
Anyways, I just remembered a place in Bailey I'm going to go see if I can poke around in. I'm fixing to post some new stuff soon and maybe you'll get some ideas then.
