Finally inside the silo

I checked out a couple more silo sites and found an open one. None of these silos were demolished the same! This one still has the air vent/escape hatch completely intact. Someone cut the hatch off and cut though the air vent into the command center. The tunnel to the silo is completely destroyed, but the blast door to the stairwell is shut.

I particularly love the "No smoking in bed" sign

The "Two man policy" verbiage was originally "Two man concept."

Awesome site though. Ched might have been there before you, but YOU shared the photos!

Has anyone else noticed in the silos (museum or otherwise) the designated smoking areas are behind the stair wells, behind the shock coils, pretty much anywhere that would be uncomfortable to smoke in? haha

I was wondering when someone was going to cut the hatch off that bastard. Congrats on gaining entry.
