2 Post Processing Techniques

I took some shots recently at the Brickworks in TO, and although not particularly happy with them, I tried a couple of different post-processing techniques. Tear 'em apart:

1a.

1b.

2a.

2b.

3.

1a. and 2a. do it for me

while the second method is kinda neat, the high saturation of color in everything makes it feel too unreal for the subject you have. nice shots though man

I think the last one is by far the best. It looks natural. A+. When you coming to visit?

1a, 2a and particularly 3 are very good. 1b and 2b are not to my taste but they have a definite norman rockwell feel to them.

nice work.

1 & 2a & 3 are very nice. natural colour and tones, with a nice sense of depth and detail.

I personally like contrast, and the HDR look doesn't do much for me. I like number 3 because it looks more natural.

Thanks for the comments guys.

All the photos are HDR, although 1a, 2a, and 3 were completed with something I was playing with to try to mimic Lomography a bit.

The last one is the best, I think. Color enhancement can be so tricky, and I try to avoid it in urbex photography, for the most part. I think because I'm trying to focus on the lines, the architecture, and the colors can be distracting.
