Thanks! I was kind of trying to make something out of nothing here since I didn't go inside at all.

Cool! I wonder if it's a Bureau of Land Management radio site. I think most of them are actually listed on a BLM web page.

If you got any decent photos of the antennas on the tower, they might provide some clues as to the use/users of the site.

I want to, I really do. Unfortunately I also don't know what is being transmitted from that tower and I would REALLY like to not get toasted.

EDIT- I checked the tower ID, it's not a BLM site. The tower's privately owned by a local company and registered for "Communication Purposes"

There are tons of things this tower could have been doing. Have you done more research into the private ownership of this tower? the visible equipment is above average for "personal communications."

I think it would totally be worth a return B&E trip with some high quality scanners and ninjas for perimeter security.

Nice set! I'd have a dilemma about climbing it as well. I REALLY wanna climb it just seeing the pictures, and I'm sure that being there would have greatly intensified that. But there's that whole worry of getting crispy, or getting sucked into another time dimension or something.
