| | | We're in the critique section and you want a critique, that's crazy talk! Well, time for a overly-long trent critique!
#1 Not level. Could use a little right rotation. Also, I see some of the lines (especially right-most column) are bent. The windows which I assume are the subject appear to be fairly vertical, but those damn columns aren't and are distracting. I might mess around with some rotation to see if there is a happy medium or if it's those columns or the windows which should remain vertical. Oh, and I don'y like the person in this shot (me). Possibly because it me so it's not as interesting, I'm not sure. But I don't seem to be doing anything particularly interesting. For me I'd be more curious seeing that shot without a person in it. Though It's tough for me to call because there's a conflict of interest for me here. #2 Same thing as #1 in regards of the rotation. Those are some trickier ones to 'level out' because it see how in the background it appears level, but the foreground isn't as much. I struggle with hose types of shots myself. I've been successfully generally lining up verticals in the middle of the shot nearest to where the subject is. So in this shot, I would make those vertical asbestos pipes by where I'm kneeling down the perfect vertical and then see how everything else looks. Comment from #1 in regards to people in the shot also applies. #3 Got some "lens bend" going on again on this one (left column). I just made up that term. It happens with my digital point and shoot often for things that are within 0-5 feet from the lens. In regards do your DSLR there, what lens were you using? Not that I'll know if it was causing the bend, but I'm just curious. Someone will have to address the bending for you. Possibly a different lends might take care of that. I'm also sensing a little blur on that shot. #4 You nailed the rotation and any "bending issues" on this one. Generally I like the shot, but from a critique standpoint that's probably a tough shot to make really interesting since it's just a void of an empty room. For what subject matter is is, it's a well-done shot and I like the dark eeriness of the wood floor and brick. #5 This one is my favorite. I can't believe I missed that mask. I want to shoot that myself! I would love to see this one re-shot and/or cropped to drop that right side of the shot that gets dark around the corner of the bricks. That little thin triangle of darkness distracts me. Though I like this one and it's the strongest of the lot I think. Hope that helps.
PS: I'm finding that extra shot that you posted more interesting than the other ones with people in them. This shot is tied in my opinion for the strongest of what you've posted here. This one I actually find my backside interesting. I myself find myself thinking about what my past-self was looking at out the window.

| | | the only one i like is #2, but i wish you had of gotten all the window on the left in the shot. the rest are under-exposed and have lots of distortion.
