These were taken with my old cam about a year ago. I was playing with some old photos and thought I would share three.

1.

2.

The lighting was great in this place.
3.

My old cam was a 4mp olympus camedia e-10.

ok

#1 looks just a tiny bit crooked but the crispness is nice..

#3 is really nice. It looks just like a story.

# is ok but the part of the door that is cut off you should be closer to it. Like right beside it almost so that the part of the door that is cut off seems to disappear into the frame but yet still while keeping the corner aspect.

my $.02

I will defeat that which was once untouchable only so that I may now move on

Thank you. Sometimes I look at certain photos so much its hard for me to look at em critically. This place was fun. I want to go back with my new cam when the light is just right.

I remember that place. I like the gritty feel of these.

i really like the framing/composition in #1 & #3. #2 doesn't interest me a whole lot visually.

i agree, the grittiness is great.

I think I liked the originals better.

Not the chapel I was expecting to see there. Nice change. BTW, I would have been first to post, but shit was blowing up at work. Has was halfway through the critique.

Overall love the B&W and graininess. All good things to me.

I like 1 and 3 more. 1 draws me into the darkness, and 3 I want to continue to explore. For 2 it probably fits well in a set of photos, but on it's own it's kind of boring.

Thanks everyone. I was just kinda tinkering waiting patiently for my new cams to come in so I can shoot some film. I am putting my digital down for a bit and I am going to experiment with some expired film and classic cameras and see what I can get. I need to do something different because I feel like i am in a rut.

The only difference between a rut and a grave are the dimensions and I feel like I am buried up to my neck in it.

I like where you're going on #3. Would have been great for you if something other than bricks had been in the background. And yes, I'm thinking of a giant crucifix.

That said, almost a bit too contrasty? I'm always kinda conservative when it comes to that, though.

Things I will do for love: Anything. Things I will not do for love: That.
